  • Two views of Sacramento

Today I took a short daytrip to Sacramento, a city that I think is underrated. I like the river, the old town, the capital, and all the trees. I took with me two cameras: the new Canon Digital Rebel XTi with my 50 mm lens, and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2, which has a unique "widescreen" CCD.

Follow the link for some pictures!

Here we go… it should be easy to tell which camera I took the photo with. If it’s widescreen then it was probably the Panasonic!

Here’s where I’m off to next

If you saw my Europe photos then you already know that I like shots like this

    Tower Bridge

The very cool Ziggurat building. I took another photo of this a few years ago that ended up on a postcard!

    • We’re quite proud of our town, and you did a very nice job capturing it. The church is actaully the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, which just recently was refurbished.
Feel free to send an e-mail next time you’re in town. We could go out shooting for an afternoon, and wifey and I know of some good places to eat Downtown.
